The bad girl of EDM strikes again. Fei-Fei, former trance diva turned bass vixen, stirs controversy worldwide after receiving death threats, for her infamous mulit-genre set at Armin Van Buuren’s A State of Trance 550 at Beyond Wonderland, a sold out show of 50,000 people. It was the single most downloaded set from Armin Van Buuren’s legendary party, trending instantly on twitter and shocking millions of fans around the world with her signature blend of aggressive FEI-STEP.
In a live interview on air with Armin himself, he asks Fei-Fei “Describe your style”, her response, “I follow my inspiration whether it’s bass music, electro house, trance or techno. Good music is good music, I do whatever the fuck I wanna do”. On top of her wild set was the exclusive debut live performance of Fei-Fei’s new banger “Love Drunk” featuring Dom Liberati. “Love Drunk” is currently dominating the Beatport charts at #4, out on Reid Speed’s massive Play Me Records label, voted Best Dubstep Label at the Dubstep Music Awards.
It’s been a crazy month for the bad girl, from playing Heat, a massive sold out college show of 20,000 with Mac Miller, Major Lazer, Chiddy Bang to the Play Me Records showcase at SXSW to being invited personally by Armin Van Buuren to join him at ASOT 550 at Insomniac’s massive festival Beyond Wonderland. But it doesn’t stop there.
Expect the unexpected, as the bad girl has a few more surprises up her sleeve including collabs in the works with UK grime masters Newham Generals – Footsie and D Double E and many more mad bangers coming soon on her own Feided imprint.
